Mrs Edge

I hope that you have all had a wonderful Easter.  I have attached an overview of the areas of study we will be looking at this term.  As you may be aware, we have not yet studied our history topic about the plague.  We have decided to cover this as part of a ‘topic week’ following SATs week.  Mrs Bacon will be teaching RE and PSHCE on a Monday afternoon.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

As a reminder, children in the juniors are expected to read a minimum of three times a week at home and this needs to be logged in their reading record.  Spellings will continue to take place on a Monday and children are expected to write eight sentences, each including a word from their spelling list.  In addition to this, children in Year 3 and 4 are asked to practise their times tables three times each week which needs to be completed each Tuesday.  Please ensure that children have their PE kit is in school every day.
