Mrs Edge

Dear Parents/Carers,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you back to school and welcome the new Year 3s into the juniors.  I hope you have all had an enjoyable Summer. I have attached an overview of the topics we will be studying this term. The teaching arrangements in the afternoon remain the same as last year; Mrs Bacon will be teaching RE and PSHCE on a Monday afternoon.  Please ensure your child has their PE kit and water bottle in school each day.

All children in the juniors must read at home a minimum of three times each week, this should be logged in their Reading Record and this is checked each Monday. Children must also complete spelling homework each week whereby they complete the spelling activities provided and write a sentence for each of their spellings.  These are also marked on a Monday.  Children in Year 3 and 4 are asked to learn their times tables by completing 3 of the boxes of tables each week which need to be completed each Tuesday.  Children in Years 5 and 6 will also receive additional Maths and English homework.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Kind Regards,

E.Edge
